SALIDA – Fire damaged a home in Salida shortly after 1:30 Friday afternoon. The fire was dispatched at a home on the 4800 Block of Zinfandel Avenue.
Fire crews arrived and found flames burning through the front of the house. Additional resources from Modesto and Ripon were dispatched to the scene.
Shortly after 2:00 pm, the fire was controlled. There were no injuries reported, it appeared the occupants escaped on time.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
