SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY – The San Joaquin Office of Emergency Services announced that the county has been approved by the California Department of Public Health to move forward into stage two opening.

Stage two allows in-restaurant dining, destination retail, and schools all with modifications to reopen.

Dine-in restaurants and destination retail centers are required to follow state guidance to support safe, clean environments for workers and customers.

Many of these guidances include physical distancing to the maximum extent possible, use of face coverings by employees and customers, frequent hand washing, regular cleaning and disinfection.

Several businesses in Stockton have expressed their thoughts about moving toward the second stage of reopening. In a social media post Lincoln Center says, “There will be guidelines to be followed but we could not be happier to hear this news! Shop local, eat local, spend local, enjoy local! See ya at the Center!”
