Two People Shot Five Minutes Apart

STOCKTON – Police say two people were shot five minutes apart Thursday night.

The first shooting happened at about 9:25 pm in the area of Wilson Way and Jackson Street, under the Mormon Slough Bridge. When officers arrived a 36 year old male was found with gunshot wounds to both legs.

The second shooting happened at about 9:30 pm in the 2200 Block of Cambria Drive. Police say the victim, a 21 year old female, was driving and was approached by the suspect vehicle. Moments later, the victim heard shots coming from the suspect vehicle and realized she had been shot.

Both shooting victims were transported to area hospitals and were said to be in stable condition.

There was no suspect information for both shootings.
